Electchester was established in 1949. 

 

Today, there are approximately 5,550 residents living in 2,500 units in 38 buildings, many of which are 6 story brick structures.

 

Work on this project included a complete replacement of the roofs on the two highrise tower buildings in Fifth Housing. Also included were repairs to the laundry room roofs and building canopies. Bulkhead work and water tank enclosure repairs were also performed.
